Seven.One Sports owns and operates an exclusive collection of sports products. Next to operating an attractive portfolio of sports rights, we produce events and entire event series for major sports like Soccer, Boxing, American Football, Tennis and Volleyball – which we distribute both via our Free-TV and digital channels.
In addition to the commercialization of our own sports products, Seven.One Sports also acts as a marketer for numerous exciting external sports publishers. The result is a comprehensive and unique offer for advertisers in the emotional environment of sport.
Via our segment “Sports Events” we provide a full-service offering covering the professional organization and monetization of sports events. This includes the entire handling through our event manager MMP, support in acquiring marketing partners and the commercialization through our high-coverage media.
Seven.One Sports is formed by a dynamic team with long-standing experience in the sports industry.
Co-CEO Stefan Zant drives the strategic development of Seven.One Sports and the Seven.One Sports portfolio, as well as performance optimization of Seven.One Sports assets. He is also fully responsible for the Digital Sports segment.
Senior Vice President Sports Alexander Rösner heads the following areas: editorial office, production and sports rights. As “chief of ran sports” he is accountable for all sports contents.
CFO Jan-Ulrich Seitz takes the responsibility and oversees all finance and business intelligence related processes within Seven.One Sports.
MD MMP Christian Okon is responsible for the Sports Events Unit of Seven.One Sports as Managing Director of MMP Event GmbH based in Cologne.
Co-CEO Thomas Port is responsible for Sales & Commercial Partnerships at Seven.One Sports: He drives the commercialization and sales of both Seven.One Sports platforms, but also of third party platforms across all topic areas. Thomas is responsible for the holistic approach Seven.One Sports takes to digital sport sales.
Vice President Commercial Cooperations Antje Bongers and her team are responsible for the strategic development and expansion of brands, e-commerce platforms, retail marketing and partnering models.
Commercial Director Sports Carl Düvel drives the sales and marketing efforts of Seven.One Sports. He is responsible for the effective positioning of our advertising-partners on our TV- and online channels.
Director Business Development & Operations Katharina Gammel is responsible for growth initiatives of Seven.One Sports with a strong focus on the digital segment – including identification and execution of new business models and M&A projects.
